Where can I find out more about the Heart Failure course?

For specific course infomation about this course view course details.

How do I start a course?

We’re closing this eLearning platform soon, but don’t worry, we’re launching a new eLearning platform for nurses in 2021.

If you've got any questions please email hearthealthinfo@heartfoundation.org.nz.

Why do I need to enable pop ups in my browser?

The course contains 'modules' that are displayed in pop ups. By default, Google Chrome and some other web browser applications block pop-ups from automatically showing up on your screen. This means that some content will not be able to be displayed on your screen.

In Google Chrome when a pop-up is blocked, the address bar will show a pop-up blocker icon chrome pop-up blocked.

Please review your browsers settings and ensure that pop ups are turned on.

Do you have a stop smoking course?

Sorry, the Heart Foundation no longer offers this course. Visit Haapai for more information around alternative stop smoking courses - http://hauora.co.nz/category/maori

How do I turn off email notifications?

Emails are an essential part of the way this course platform works. They are used to keep you up to date with what is going on. If you wish to reduce the amount of emails you get you could:

  • * Edit your profile and change your e-mail settings
  • * Unsubscribe from non-essential forums (although they are there for a reason!)
  • * Disable your e-mail address in your profile- this is not recommended
